Danielle L. Brinkman-Mallare
For more than 25 years, Danielle Brinkman‑Mallare has helped clients navigate the constantly changing tax landscape with clarity and confidence. She began her career in 1997 at a small firm in Oxnard, later acquiring that practice in 2000 and leading it for fifteen years before merging with Farber Hass Hurley LLP. At FHH, she headed the tax department for several years before returning to private practice in 2024.
Danielle’s work focuses on tax planning, preparation, and accounting for closely held businesses and their owners, with experience across the service, manufacturing, retail, and real estate industries, as well as significant work in trusts and estates. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge, and is deeply rooted in Ventura County, where she has spent her life living, studying, working, and serving.
Community and connection are central to who Danielle is. She has volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters and served on several nonprofit boards over the years. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Channel Islands YMCA.
Outside the office, Danielle is passionate about holistic health and well‑being. She is the co‑owner of Move Sanctuary, a wellness studio in Ojai that reflects her belief in caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
Danielle grew up in Ventura and now lives in Ojai with her husband, Dodge, and their son, Cash. She is roots‑oriented and values family, community, and time outdoors. When she’s not working with clients or at the studio, you’re likely to find her on the trails around Ojai, spending quiet time with her horses, or at home with her family, dogs, and chickens. Those moments in nature and community are what ground her and shape the way she shows up for her clients.
